We are fully persuaded that there cannot possibly be any solidly grounded hope of a genuine revival of godliness among believers and of morality among unbelievers until the Ten Commandments are again given their proper place in our affections, thoughts, and lives.
The following articles are taken from A.W. Pink's Studies in the Scriptures (Vol. 20), which he published in 1941.
- Introduction: The Divine Decalogue
- The First Commandment
- The Second Commandment
- The Third Commandment
- The Fourth Commandment
- The Fifth Commandment
- The Sixth Commandment
- The Seventh Commandment
- The Eighth Commandment
- The Ninth Commandment
- The Tenth Commandment
Editor's Note: We wholeheartedly agree with Pink's assessment above. Even though the Lord Jesus Christ declared that He had not come to abolish the law (Matthew 5:17-19), and even though the apostle Paul affirmed that the law is not nullified by the New Testament faith but firmly established (Romans 3:31), the Ten Commandments of Almighty God, nevertheless, have been virtually abandoned by evangelicals. Consequently, multitudes of evangelical churches have become filled with all manner of idolatry and licentiousness—God has rejected and forsaken those who have forgotten His holy law, just as He warned (Hosea 4:6-9).
